noodles.
Fresh noodles from Rustan’s, our new favorite. just toss in some veggies, mushrooms and a couple of spices and voila, ready now. The miki are much more yum than the tinier kind though.
Hi, I'm Pi and I usually have trouble writing long posts. d: Nothing in here can be used against me. :D
Jae Gae Non, Escriva Drive. DPP friends, reunite. (; After forever we finally found ourselves complete once again. Catch up over Korean food.
I’m Yours - Jason Mraz
Manila improv, <3. I’m really loving his Jesus look! Haha!
Jason Mraz and Toca Rivera’s Manila 2011 Setlist:
Moshi Moshi, Regis Center. Goal is to try everything in the new place. First stop, Japanese! Kani salad was okay, so was the gyoza and katsudon. But my chicken mayo bowl was too gooey. I asked for ad on spicy mayo and it wasn’t at all spicy.
Arya, Robinson’s Midtown. After a bit of chit chat we finally headed to Arya in Rob Midtown for late dinner. Mr. Mahlok is a Moslem so we had to make sure everything was halal. The place did not disappoint. They serve Persian so we asked for salad, bread and plates of kebab. Okay, fine koobideh to be exact. Haha. Not really fond of taking food pics but they were all yummy and the servings were all good for sharing. I particularly liked their specialty salad. So stuffed when we finished. It was a good dinner. We were able to catch up and share stories. We also got the gifts Cheggy and Zaya sent for us when he visited Ulaanbatar. Those two girls are the sweetest!
Sachi, Gateway. Headband girls reunion was canceled so I had Japanese dinner with @d3vani and @jajapotz at Sachi, instead. Been spending time online with @d3vani the last couple of days chatting about Ykw, her imagined neuroticism (lol), our desire to join a prayer group again and other grown up stuff. It was appeasing to finally talk to each other in person. (:

Paolo Nutini - Cry Me A River
In honor of JT, haha. He came in last night here in Manila looking so glum.
Pao Tsin Stall, Megamall A. Gave in to a craving and walked through the heat all the way to the Megamall. Sharksfin siomai, FTW!
Page and Sheila brought mini Krispy Kremes for afternoon break. Bubble gum flavored donuts. Uhmkay. Blech. d:
Kourtyard Cafe, Oracle Bldg., Katipunan Ave. My sister’s friend owns the place therefore as a matter of courtesy I will consider myself forbidden to say anything nasty. Lolx. Although, to be fair, I’ve had a taste of their pasta carbonara and caramelized burger before and kind of loved both.
Lunch with Deva and Len was of lemon chicken, crispy sinigang and porkchop/ liempo. Everything pretty decent. Deva liked the seemingly perfect asim of the sinigang. But everything’s fried so I wish they use olive oil. For a coffee place, it has plenty of food options under reasonable prices.
