Thank you. Admiration. Goodbye. - The District 12 salute. Definitely one of my favorite parts in the movie! After Rue died, K laid her on a bed of flowers and right before leaving she faced the cam and made the District 12 salute. That was for Rue and for her District. The shots after that, with Rue’s dad and the peacekeepers and the rest of District 11, were just so moving, I couldn’t help but cry. ),: Not bad, Gary Ross, Jennifer Lawrence. Really. Not bad.
