In my part of the world, people who work in the private sector usually look down on those doing government or development work for being supposedly mediocre. At some point, I actually thought there’s good solid proof in support of this belief but judging from recent interaction with people from private companies, I’d say its all but an exaggeration. All the proposals I received to day, I’m throwing straight to the shredder. I don’t know why I even bothered to waste my time reading them.
