Teriyaki Boy + Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (CBTL), Gateway. Midweek dinner + dessert with the Hexa Lolas. Cos you know, weekend shindigs are for amateurs, LOL. Also, late birthday treat courtesy of Lane. It’s the first time we’ve seen her since the wedding! Imagine dut. I too can’t believe myself.
Who ever made up the rule that engagement rings should be worth thrice the guy’s salary is an imbecile. Is it not enough that another person made a decision to summon enough courage to ask you to spend your life with him? Do you really need a ring with three stones on each side and a queen diamond in the middle to appreciate it?
Saturday with the Hexa lolas. It was breakfast turned lunch to dinner. We first met at Mercato and then we went to Highstreet, Serendra, Metro Metro and finally Megamall! Haha.
Sizzling Pepper Steak, Trinoma. We met up for window shopping and some real shopping. Haha. Just like old times. Yay! Gg is finally logging on to Twitter. d:

We finally used her Burgoo coupons. Food was yummy! Service was also good. My first time to eat at their Trinoma branch. There weren’t a lot of customers but it felt cramped. I don’t know why. But they had a wall for amateur art pieces, so there goes redemption. For dessert, we had some moist chocolate cake from Mary Grace.
Good time with the girls, as usual. We talked about a number of things— school and travel and cheer dance and the proposal. (: Too bad @abibubiboink and @ileynsanshayn had to miss it.
Northpark, Araneta. Catch up dinner with the Hexa lolas. We talked about work and life and love. Showbiz news and social issues —Christopher Lao, you were on top of our list. Sorry. ):
@abibubiboink was forced to miss it though. The boards are this weekend and she has to be mentally rested. We took a pic of ourselves, each holding our good luck banner. But as Tumblr is, the pics refuse to rotate. ): Bah. Still, break a leg @abibubiboink!
My Thai & Pho Hoa, Gateway Mall. Rice noodles! Yum. I like that clients can cross order. I had rice noodles from My Thai but my calamansi juice was from Pho Hoa. @d3vani on the other hand had Vietnamese ramen from Pho Hoa and her grape juice from My Thai. Hehe.
We weren’t supposed to meet until @reileenjoy is free but there were heavy news in her workplace that she could not resist to share. I would never understand why she would think I’m emotionally ready for heartbreak stories but I went anyway.
So, there… Love is a decision. If there’s anything of value I’ve learned in the past year, that would be it. Sometimes people decide to choose you. Sometimes they don’t. And when the latter happens, the most you can do is to accept it and show them why they could be wrong.

CPK, Trinoma. Dinner date with gG. We shared random stories over mushroom ravioli and pesto chicken pizza. We talked about work and friends and family and love and movies and exercise and a lot of other things. We talked from 7pm until past 10pm, the time the waiter had to send us out cos they were already closing. It was pretty insane! But it was so much fun.
